The driver was asked to step out of the vehicle and reported to officers the passenger, Vanover, had just smoked marijuana.
Officers learned that Vanover had multiple warrants out for his arrest. A search of his person revealed a red plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine rocks. Officers also recovered suspected marijuana.
Vanover was placed under arrest and transported to Logan County Jail where he is being charged with felony drug charges, possession of marijuana, and served paper on the multiple warrants. Officers learned Vanover had multiple prior felony drug charges on his record.
