Fairbanks jumped out to a 13-0 lead after one quarter and went on to beat host Ridgemont 46-30 in a non-league girls basketball game Monday night.
The Gophers warmed up in the second quarter, outscoring the Panthers 12-6 to make the score 19-12 at halftime.
Fairbanks led 27-18 after three quarters and finished off Ridgemont with a 19-12 run in the fourth period.
Amanda Howland led the Gophers with 11 points and eight rebounds. Callie Cromer added seven points.
The Gophers are back in action Wednesday at home against Cardington.
