Codi A. Greene, 26, of 5601 County Road 55, Bellefontaine, and Harold Walters Jr., 47, of 2650 Township Road 182, Bellefontaine, each was issued a summons for assault following an incident at the Walters residence Sunday evening.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the residence about 9:15 p.m. in reference to a dispute.
Mr. Greene and his girlfriend reportedly were at Mr. Walters’ residence that evening for supervised visitation with their children. Mr. Walters’ wife, Terrasa Walters, 43, currently has custody of the couple’s children.
Mr. Walters reportedly became upset when he arrived home shortly before 9 p.m. and observed that Mr. Greene’s vehicle was still in his driveway. He allegedly punched Mr. Greene, who was sitting in his vehicle, and then began punching at the vehicle.
Mr. Walters then went inside the residence, where the altercation continued after Mr. Greene followed him into the home. Mr. Greene allegedly picked up a toy and threw it at Mr. Walters, and it struck him in the face.
In the midst of the commotion, Mrs. Walters’ 17-year-old child reportedly began having symptoms of a seizure, and a Tri-Valley squad responded to the home.
