Bonnie L. Pool, 54, of 309 Miami Ave., was charged Monday with having a dog at large and cited for reckless operation; driving on sidewalks, curbs or lawns; and driving the wrong way on a one-way street.
Around 9:15 p.m., she called police wanting them to call the county dog warden to secure her dog and kill it. Officers were not able to locate the dog at that time.
More than an hour later, witnesses called to report a woman was driving a sport utility vehicle the wrong way on Park Road, over sidewalks and through yards yelling obscenities at a dog.
She was found on Park and had secured the dog at that time. The dog laid passively on the back seat of the vehicle the entire time officers interacted with Pool.
She was advised to contact a shelter to find a new home for the dog if she didn’t want it.

Around 2:15 a.m., Klingler was observed driving westbound on Columbus Avenue west of Main Street and paced by an officer of the Bellefontaine Police Department in a cruiser at 38 mph in a 25-mph zone. He also traveled across the center line once on Columbus and then on Garfield Avenue before he was stopped on Limestone Street.
Officers detected an odor of alcohol while talking separately with both.
