Police were dispatched to Unit 17 at Whispering Valley Trailer Park, 8573 State Route 366, Russells Point, at 12:20 a.m. Saturday on a report of an female who was out of control.
Upon arrival, residents there said they witnessed Mariah LeVan, 21, also a resident of the home, snorting a crushed Vicodin in the bathroom. She became combative and wanted to leave when police were called.
An Indian Lake squad treated and released the woman.
Police recovered whole and crushed Vicodin tablets she had hidden in the bathroom. LeVan was charged with felony possession of a schedule 2 drug and was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
Township police nab drivers
Dustin Scott Harris, 35, of Tampa, Fla., was lodged in the Logan County Jail after a Thursday evening traffic stop in Lewistown, where he failed field sobriety tests, Washington Township Police report.
Officers observed the driver cross center and edge lines while traveling east on County Road 91 and initiated the stop in the village.
Harris was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence and failure to operate within marked lanes.
• Bryce Dickerson, 17, of Lewistown, was issued citations after he allegedly gained speed rather than stopping for a police officer traveling behind him Saturday on C.R. 91 near Township Road 33.
After a two-mile pursuit, the driver stopped at 5531 County Road 91 and was ordered from the car at gun point, along with a 21-year-old passenger.
Bryce was cited for failing to drive within marked lanes and failure to comply with a police officer. No additional information was available.
