A West Liberty motorist was arrested Thursday after he was stopped for the second time in three days for driving without a license.
David J. Moden, 25, of 128 1/2 W. Baird St., West Liberty, was stopped at 12:45 a.m. after an officer of the Bellefontaine Police Department observed him driving his car with expired registration in the 2300 block of south Main Street.
The officer was familiar with the car and Moden as he had stopped the motorist on March 8 and issued him traffic citations for no operator’s license and expired registration. He had warned the motorist at the time of further consequences if he continued to drive.
Thursday, Moden was taken into custody and lodged in the Logan County Jail on additional citations for no operator’s license and expired registration.
Man lodged for domestic violence
Justin Reilley, 31, of 313 Lawrence St., was charged Wednesday with domestic violence.
Amber Glass, of the same address, told officers the two began arguing around 7:30 a.m. and he allegedly put her in a headlock from behind and began choking her. She was able to defend herself by reaching behind Reilley and pulling a clump of hair from his “man-bun.”
She had visible signs of injuries. Officers report her 9-year-old daughter corroborated her story and evidence at the scene supported the victim’s claims.
Reilley was arrested and lodged in jail.
