Mary E. Trimble, 86, of Belle Center, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017m at Mary Rutan Hospital.
She was born Oct. 13, 1931, in Middletown, the only child of the late Clovis and Mabel Jackson Kalbfleisch. She is also preceded in death by her son, Mark Butterfield, and her daughter-in-law, Janet Butterfield.
She is survived by her son, Clovis “Bud” Butterfield of Belle Center; a daughter, Deanna (Kenneth Riner) Trimble of Russells Point; eight grandchildren, Brandie (Rob) Irwin of Jackson Center, Michelle (Malcolm Gonzalez) Butterfield of Dublin, Joshua (Renee) Butterfield, of Bellefontaine, Elizabeth Butterfield of Belle Center, Justin (Danielle) Trimble of DeGraff, Heather (Doug) Johns of Huntsville, Krista (Anthony) Browning of Belle Center and Jonathon (Shannon) Stinemetz of Russells Point, 18 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
She enjoyed studying her Bible, spending time with her family, quilting, baking and collecting angels and cardinals.
She donated her body to Wright State University School of Medicine Anatomical Gift Program.
Pastor Fred Albert will officiate a celebration of Mary’s life at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, at Hope Harbor Baptist Church on south State Route 235, Lakeview.
