Saneth L. Carter, 94, of Lansing, Mich., and formerly of Bellefontaine, passed away Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017, in the Brookdale Delta Care Center in Lansing, Mich. She was born in West Mansfield on Dec. 22, 1922, a daughter of the late Adrian and Cora Mae Williams Stanley, with two sisters and two brothers.
On Oct. 7, 1939, she married Irvin W. Carter in Richmond, Ind., and he preceded her in death Jan. 29, 1994. She is also preceded in death by a son, Douglas W. Carter, and a granddaughter, Amanda Marie Carter Horn.
Saneth is survived by a daughter, Pamela (Terry) Fults of Lansing Mich.; three grandsons, Erick (Nicole) Carter, Dustin (Paige) and Tyler Fults, and four great0grandchildren.
Along with her husband, Irvin, they owned and operated the Standard Oil Bulk Plant in Bellefontaine for 34 years. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church, Bellefontaine, where she was active with the Deborah Circle. She also was a member of the Eastern Star and the King’s Daughters. She enjoyed spending time with her family and visiting friends. She loved to bake and share with others, especially during the holidays.
Pastor Bryan Meadows officiates a funeral service at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, in the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St. Bellefontaine, where calling is two hours prior to the service. Burial is in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
