Wildon Lloyd Niesley, 85, of Belle Center, passed away at 1:40 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019, at his residence.
He was born in San Diego, Calif., on July 13, 1934, a son of the late Donald Curtis and Wilma Marie Van Cleve Niesley.
He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Niesley; two daughters, Andrea Carol Karhoff and Donna Ellen Niesley; a sister, Donna Askren; and a brother, Jack Niesley.
On Dec. 19, 1957, in San Diego, Calif., he married the former Barbara Joan Kirkhuff and she survives. He is also survived by his children, Jennifer Anne Niesley and Elizabeth Marie Niesley, both of Belle Center, James Christopher (Kelly) Niesley of Idaho and Amy K. (Stork) Wilson of Pasedena, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; a sister, Andrea Margarett Mulkins of Lakeside, Calif.; a brother, Curtis (Shari) Niesley of San Diego, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews.
Lloyd worked as a schoolteacher and was a member of Belle Center Presbyterian Church and had attended the Presbyterian Church in West Covina, Calif., when he lived in California. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a Boy Scout leader for more than 30 years. He was also an avid coin collector and loved to play cards.
There are no planned services at this time.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center.
