Sharon K. Sheeley, 71, of Belle Center, passed away at 2 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2019, at her residence.
She was born in Kenton on Dec. 5, 1947, the daughter of the late Harry R. and Ruth I. Gardner Grunden. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Roger Grunden.
On Sept. 19, 1970, she married Charles Sheeley and he survives.
She is also survived by a brother, Ronald Grunden of Cecil; three sisters-in-law, Carolyne Forsythe of East Liberty and Mary Kay (Lavern) Steinberger and Linda Kauffman, both of Bellefontaine; “like a granddaughter,” Annika Chappell of Belle Center; and several nieces and nephews.
Sharon was a member of the Belle Center Church of Christ for many years. She was a second-grade teacher with Benjamin Logan School District for 30-pluss and she enjoyed reading.
Pastor John Watkins will officiate a service at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, in Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center, in the shelter building.
