Stephen J. Mouser, 65, of Alger, died Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at his residence. He was born Oct. 15, 1953, in Kenton, to the late Charles R. Mouser and to Beatrice LeVally Mouser, who survives in Ridgeway.
Also surviving are significant other; Sheryl Payne of Alger; one daughter, Shelly Cobb of Mt. Victory; three sons, A.J. (Christi) Mouser of West Carlton, Shane Mouser of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Preston (Erin) Bopp of Marysville; one sister; Karen (Doug) Lough of West Mansfield; two brothers, Larry Mouser and David (Joan) Mouser, both of Ridgeway; one granddaughter; Trayce Bopp; and several nieces and nephews.
Stephen was a member of the Ridgeway Church of Christ.
Stephen had an adventurous spirit. He loved animals, especially his dogs. He enjoyed being outdoors, going for walks, fishing and off-roading in his Jeep. He would attend as many tractor and truck pulls as he could. Stephen lived his life to the fullest and was a true family man who loved his family dearly.
Memorial donations may be made to Universal Hospice and Ridgeway Church of Christ.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Monday, March 18, at Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory, where calling is from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 17.
