Cromer Ray Yoder, 73, of Crestview, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018, in Shoal Creek Rehabilitation Center, Crestview, Fla.
He was born Sept. 1, 1945, in Bellefontaine. He enjoyed the outdoors; fishing, mowing or just yard work in general. Ray retired as operations manager in the manufacturing industry. Most of all Ray loved spending time with his family and they will sadly miss him.
Ray is survived by his wife, Marillyn Kay Cohn Yoder; his daughter, Prairie Beth (Henry Jr.) Lockhart; his son, Andrew Ray Yoder; grandchildren, Amanda Yoder and Landon Lockhart; sisters, Linda Johns and Katie (Gene) Lovett; extended family, Russell (Tina) Cohn, James (Abby) Cohn and Fran Cohn; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Guyson and Nona Geraldine Plank Yoder; grandson, Devon Yoder, daughter-in-law, Gail Yoder, brothers-in-law, Harold Johns, Robert Cohn and Howard Cohn.
Calling is from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, at Vernon Funeral Home, Urbana, where a funeral service begins at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, following calling that begins at 10 a.m. Pastor Mike Maurice officiates. Burial is in Grandview Cemetery, Urbana.
