John T. Mohr, 89, of Centerville, formerly of Logan County, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Myron and Nellie Mohr; wife, Patsy J. Mohr; and daughterin- law, Kimberley Mohr.
He is survived by his three children, Michael (Mary) Mohr, Richard Mohr and Karen (Timothy) Jones; grandchildren, Angela, Patricia, Stephanie, Stephanie, Rebecca, James-Robert, Mary Beth, Matthew and Jonathan; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends, including some in Logan County.
He was a retired Lt. Colonel of the U.S. Army Rangers. He was a devoted member of the Central Christian Church in Kettering and loved to sing in the choir.
Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home, 5555 Philadelphia Dr., Dayton, where the funeral is at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15. Pastor Irvin Green officiates and interment follows in Dayton Memorial Park.
