Goody’s donates to local Sigma Phi Gamma chapter

Goodys-donation

Members of the local Nu Beta Chapter of Sigma Phi Gamma International Sorority recently partnered with Goody’s for the retail company’s 30 Days of Giving campaign, which helped to raise nearly $700 for several local projects.

Goody’s launched the month-long campaign to support local organizations that make a positive impact in their communities.

Following the campaign, Goody’s representatives Dottie Allen, Brittnie Whetsel and Ashley Savage presented a check to Sigma Phi Gamma to help support three different efforts — Logan County Weekday Religious Education, Youth Outreach Program and Warm Clothes for Kids.

Sigma Phi Gamma is a friendship and service sorority whose members give hands-on and financial support to individuals and charitable causes, both through local chapters and on the national level. Nu Beta members include Missy Gantner, Mary Ransbottom, Shirley Meeker, Jayne McAdams, Celia Lange, Diane Hager, Cindy Titus, Nancy Forsythe, Marj Branch, Julie Schrader and KimberLee Kinney.
