ILMS kicks off student of the month program

ILMS-StudentMonth
Indian Lake Middle School has kicked off a new student of the month program, which was spearheaded by Co-Principal Gene Gooding to recognize hard-working students who set a good example for others.

“The staff wanted a way to honor kids who stand out and go above and beyond in academics, attitude and behavior,” Mr. Gooding said.

The January students of the month are fifth-grader Cheyenne Hill, sixth-grader Ashlyn Shaner, seventh-grader Ethan Fulkerson and eighth-grader Dakota McKinnon. These students receive one free homework pass, a lunch line pass to the front of the line for one month, a free pizza from Cassano’s, and an ice cream treat at an end-of-the-year gathering.
