Sock drive conducted at ILHS

Sophomore Sock Drive 2018

The Indian Lake High School sophomores recently conducted a sock drive and collected a total of 400 pairs of socks, which will be donated to the United Christian Services Food Pantry of Indian Lake for distribution throughout the winter.

The sophomores had learned that socks are the least donated clothing item and yet the most in demand for those in need. In response, class members organized a drive through Laker Time classes. Justin Metzger’s Laker Time class brought in the most socks, with 229 pairs collected.
