55th class reunion

BHS 1963

The Bellefontaine High School Class of 1963 recently gathered at the Logan County History Center’s Transportation atrium for their 55th class reunion, with 37 classmates and 13 guests in attendance. Valerie Filio Carlquest read the 28 names of the deceased classmates and a moment of silence was observed. Darell Phillips offered a blessing for the food, and the meal was catered by Marvin and Nancy Helmuth of Rushsylvania. David Straub presenting rose pins to the wives of veterans, and Vickie Slater Murphy read the poem “And Then lt ls Winter.” The evening closed by singing the Bellefontaine High School song.
