At least one county bridge was destroyed in Friday morning’s torrential down-pour, but a full assessment of other structures will have to wait until flood waters recede.

Mental Health Awareness Walk canceled for today

The National Alliance of Mental Illness and Recovery Zone’s 20th annual Mental Health Awareness Walk that was slated for today at Lions Park has been canceled because of flooding issues in the West Liberty area.

Organizers said the event will be rescheduled.
