Logan County Board of Developmental Disabilities Superintendent Saul Bauer presented information about a new career partnership with the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center during the board’s Thursday evening meeting.
The LCBDD has prepared a training agenda for Ohio Hi-Point students and will be providing instruction to pupils May 4, 11 and 18. Participants will learn about the agency and the steps they could take to become a provider of services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
School safety also was a topic of discussion at the meeting. Bellefontaine Fire Chief Andy Fissel and Dana Booghier of the Logan County Building Authority, visited the Discovery Center, 1973 W. State Route 47, this week for a walk through and discussion on safety and security.
