Paul Benedetti, a longtime business owner and current head of the Logan County Chamber of Commerce, filed his paperwork Friday to run for Logan County Commissioner.

He is seeking one of two seats that are up for election in 2018, opting not to run against Joe Antram, who was recently appointed by the Logan County Republican Central Committee to fill the unexpired term of former commissioner Tony Core. Instead, Benedetti will run for the seat being vacated by Commissioner Dustin Wickersham at the end of this year.
No one else has yet filed to run for either seat and filing deadline is Feb. 7.
