Benefit dinners set


Spaghetti dinner to benefit veteran’s family

VFW Post 1080, 216 Orchard Ave., Bellefontaine, hosts a spaghetti dinner from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, to benefit the family of Ryan Lillard, an Iraqi war veteran who died recently. All proceeds will go toward final expenses and to the care of his young sons.

The event includes a 50/50 drawing and door prizes every 15 minutes.

The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under.

Dinner to benefit crash victims’ families

A dinner to benefit the families of Krista McDonald and Peggy Eastman, volunteer EMTs who were victims of a crash last month returning in an ambulance from another crash that resulted in the death of McDonald and critically injured Eastman, will be served from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, in the Ridgemont School, 560 W. Taylor St., Mt. Victory. The cost is by donation.

Take outs are available. The menu includes chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, cole slaw, roll and dessert.
