Kayla Cummins of rural Bellefontaine had three entries in Thursday’s Logan County Born and Raised Market Lamb Show, and she came away with three first place rosettes, the grand champion and reserve champion titles and fifth place overall.
Not bad for an afternoon show.
The 13-year-old Indian Lake Middle School eighth-grader earned the grand champion title last year also.
“You gotta bond with them and spend a lot of time with them,” she said quickly. “They like you to pet them and bond with them.” She said she spends a lot of time sitting in the pen with them.
