Cori Price, 28, Lakeview, was charged during a Wednesday evening traffic stop with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/drugs and driving under an OVI suspension that had been issued in January.

Officers of the Washington Township Police Department on patrol in the area of U.S. Route 33 and Township Road 239 initiated a traffic stop with her vehicle about 10 p.m. for numerous lane violations.

Upon making contact with the driver, Ms. Price, officers believed she had just consumed methamphetamines. She was asked to take a field sobriety test and was subsequently arrested for OVI.

Her 9-year-old-son was a passenger in the vehicle, and he was released to a family member. Once at the Logan County Jail, Miss Price refused to submit to a urine test.

She also was cited for a marked lanes violation, and pending review from the Logan County Prosecutor’s Office, child endangering charges are expected to be filed as well.
