Abatement proposal approved for former school buildings
Ridgemont Board of Education members met for the first time Thursday evening in the new conference room of the new grades pre-K through 12 school building in Mt. Victory.
Superintendent Emmy Beeson thanked the community for supporting the school through the bond issue, design, construction and now the move-in phase.
While there are still items to complete in Ridgemont’s new building, such as wifi connections and bleachers in the gym, the school year is now under way “with much enthusiasm,” the superintendent said. Similarly, she shared how she is honored to work with “a positive and resilient staff who have made what could have been a bumpy start a very smooth experience.”
Board members expressed their pleasure with how the building has come together and shared their excitement about what Ridgemont will be able to accomplish academically in their new facility.
