Woman lodged after dispute with brother

Kimberly R. Evans, 22, of 420 West St., Bellefontaine, was charged with felony domestic violence following an incident Wednesday at her residence. 

Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department responded to her residence about 6:15 p.m., and when they arrived, they heard Ms. Evans shouting. 

They spoke with Ms. Evans’ brother, Robert C. Ball, who also resides at that address. He reported that during an argument, she hit him in the face with a drinking glass, which chipped his tooth and injured his lip and face.

Ms. Evans admitted to hitting him with the glass, and stated that he threw water at her during the argument. She was arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail. 



• Debra Booth, 41, of 1600 S. Detroit St., Apt. 21, Bellefontaine, was charged with persistent disorderly conduct following an incident Wednesday. 

Officers were dispatched to her address about 4 p.m. after she was reportedly making threats. She was transported by squad to Mary Rutan Hospital, where she reportedly began causing trouble with the nursing staff. 

After repeated orders to calm down, officers placed her under arrest and transported her to the Logan County Jail.
