SHERIFF BEAT: Teen injured after vehicle strikes tree



Morgan E. Evilsizor, 16, of Belle Center, was transported by BMRT squad to Lima Memorial Health System following a one-vehicle crash about 3:20 p.m. Monday. 

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report that she was operating a northbound car on County Road 39 just north of Township Road 100 when she drove off the right side of the road into a field, striking a tree. 


Damage was heavy to her car. Morgan was wearing her seat belt. Deputies continue to investigate this crash, and no citations have yet been issued. 

Juveniles issued disorderly conduct charges

Seth Folk, 16, of 10887 Walnut St., Lakeside, Lakeview, was charged with disorderly conduct following an incident Monday. 

His mother, Kari Folk, 36, reported about 5:50 p.m. that she had been contacted by Indian Lake Schools regarding her son’s absence from school that day. She was unable to make contact with son her at that time. 

She told deputies that she believed Seth might be in Bellefontaine, and Bellefontaine Police officers were contacted about the teen. 

About 9 p.m., Ms. Folk located her son in Bellefontaine. He told deputies that he didn’t want to be at home or at school and would rather go to jail. He was transported to the Logan County Juvenile Detention Center. 

• Jaedyn R. Ford, 17, of 747 N. County Road 5, Zanesfield, was charged with disorderly conduct Monday evening. 

About 8:15 a.m., deputies were contacted by her mother, Susan R. Stover, 41. She said her daughter did not come home the previous evening, and she believed her daughter was at a family member’s house in Bellefontaine. 

Jaedyn was located Monday evening at a relative’s house in Bellefontaine. She was lodged in the JDC.
