At this time, the chief said, “We have not determined a definite cause or definite area of origin. It’s still under investigation.”

Significant damage was found in the second-floor bedroom and attic.

All shifts were called in and they responded with an engine, medic and ladder. Firefighters were on scene until 4:15 a.m.

Firefighters estimate there was $40,000 damage to the structure and $20,000 to the contents.
