A Columbus woman pleaded guilty during a Logan County Common Pleas hearing Monday to a fourth-degree felony count of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs that stemmed from a non-injury crash March 11.
Lindsay R. Green, 32, was found guilty of the charge during the hearing conducted by Logan County Assistant Prosecutor Alice Robinson-Bond.
Green was referred to the Adult Parole Authority for a pre-sentence investigation report at 9 a.m. Sept. 16, and her sentencing was set for 9 a.m. Oct. 15.
Related to the crash, deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report she was operating a northbound on State Route 117 near Township Road 36 about 4:50 p.m.. Her vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and into an empty field and became stuck in the mud.
Huntsville EMS also responded to the scene. When deputies first arrived, they observed the defendant attempting to accelerate her vehicle in an attempt to leave, and she had reportedly told paramedics to “get out of the way.”
