Authorities are seeking witnesses and information regarding a high-speed pursuit early Saturday.
Around 1:20 a.m., an officer of the Bellefontaine Police Department was on patrol and observed an eastbound white sedan make an improper turn from Sandusky Avenue onto Garfield Avenue.
The officer turned to initiate a traffic stop and the motorist sped off leaving the city limits.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office and troopers of the Ohio State Highway Patrol joined in the pursuit which continued up County 130 onto State 117 and through Huntsville.
All agencies terminated pursuit of the sedan near State Route 366 because of safety concerns as speeds reached 90 to 112 mph.
