Anastasia M. Haywood, 20, of Mt. Victory, and Tyler A. Queen, 26, of Sidney, each was charged with domestic violence related to a rolling domestic incident in Quincy Wednesday evening.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched about 8:45 p.m. to the area of Carlisle and Mill streets in the village in reference to a passerby observing a woman with visible injuries to her face. The woman, later identified as Haywood, reportedly had exited a vehicle operated by Queen.
Deputies located Queen’s vehicle in that area, but neither Queen nor Haywood were present. A short time later, Queen was located in the area of Carlisle and Liberty streets and deputies observed that he had extensive visible injuries to his face, neck, chest and back, along with his knuckles. He told deputies that the injury to his knuckles came from when he had punched the window of his vehicle, and that Haywood had inflicted injury upon herself.
Haywood was located at a residence on Jefferson Street in the village. She also had extensive injuries to her face and arms and said the pair had been in an argument during the past several days that had gotten physical.
Both defendants were placed under arrest and were transported to the LoganCounty Jail.
