Man charged with aggravated burglary with a deadly weapon

A rural Bellefontaine resident was charged with aggravated burglary while armed with a deadly weapon related to an incident late Monday evening in Quincy, deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report.

John M. Legg, 37, of 1073 N. Township Road 31, Bellefontaine, was arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail. Legg sustained minor injuries from a knife during the incident, but no other injuries were reported.

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded about 11:35 p.m. to 220 Jefferson St. in reference to a domestic dispute where Legg had allegedly entered the home of his ex-girlfriend and that he had a knife with him.
