Employers, students network at Career Expo

Area employers are in the market to attract quality workers, while local students are looking for job opportunities and beyond, and both came together Thursday at the Annual Logan County Career Expo at IndianLake High School.

The expo was hosted by the Midwest Regional Educational Service Center, the Logan County Collaborative and the Logan County Area Chamber of Commerce.

Nearly 60 local businesses were set up in the ILHS main gym and auxiliary gym, grouped into categories such a manufacturing, STEM related, health and human services, law enforcement, food service and more.

Juniors and seniors from Bellefontaine City Schools, Benjamin Logan, Calvary Christian, Indian Lake, Ohio Hi- Point, Riverside and West Liberty-Salem attended the event in shifts throughout the day.
