An 17-year-old Marysville senior at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center was charged Monday after he electronically delivered a photo of two men wearing clown masks and holding firearms with a message stating, “Prepare for trouble and make it double.”

Harley Adkins, whom officers of the Bellefontaine Police described as an honors student, confessed to school administrators after observing panic among students who received the phone-to-phone photo share around 12:30 p.m.

Harley called himself School Shooter as the person sharing the downloaded image. He told school officials that he meant no threat whatsoever. His locker and personal property were searched and it was determined he had no immediate means to cause harm.

He was charged with delinquency inducing panic and lodged in the Logan County Juvenile Detention Center.
