Woman lodged for public intoxication
Victoria Koneva, 38, of Woodstock, was charged with public intoxication related to an incident Monday evening.
Deputies were dispatched about 8 p.m. to 8853 State Route 117, Huntsville, in reference to a woman who was knocking on the caller’s door and would not leave.
Upon arrival, deputies said Koneva approached their cruiser and repeatedly tried to get inside the cruiser. Deputies were able to exit the cruiser and lock the doors, and noted they could smell an odor of alcoholic beverage on her person.
Deputies spoke with the resident at the home, who said he was receiving text messages stating that there was a man and a woman walking along S.R. 117.
He said Koneva then knocked at his door and asked to come inside. The resident told her she could not come in, and noted that she seemed to be “high” due to her attitude and aggressiveness.
Deputies also searched the area for the man who she had been walking with, but no one was located. Koneva was placed under arrest and lodged in the jail.
