The Logan County Mayor’s Association has set the 2021 trick-or-treat night for 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, during their quarterly meeting Thursday evening.
Last year, the Mayor’s Association moved Beggar’s Night to a Saturday afternoon, citing offering a safer event during the daytime and also hosting the trick-or-treat at a time when working families could more easily participate.
Also during the meeting hosted at the newly renovated Depot in Belle Center, presentations were given by Logan County Commissioner Paul Benedetti, Logan County Sheriff Randy Dodds, Logan County Board of Elections officials, Logan County Engineer Scott Coleman, Logan County Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Ben Vollrath, Ashley Spence from the United Way of Logan County, Brian Schultz from the Logan County Sewer District and the LUC Planning Commission Director Brad Bodenmiller.
The next meeting is slated for Oct. 20 at the West Liberty Town Hall, 201 N. Detroit St.
