Mary Kathryn Lykins Evans, 93, of Sidney, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at Dorothy Love Retirement Center.
She was born on March 27, 1923, in Vanceburg, Ky., to Oliver Darius Kilgore and Bertha Hickle Kilgore.
Mary was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond D. Lykins and Foster Evans; son, Roger D. Lykins; two brothers; and six sisters.
Survivors include sons, Thomas (Connie) Lykins of Wichita, Kan., and Virgil Lykins of Sidney; daughters, Sarah (Bill) Knasel of Sidney and Anna Welch of Green Valley, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Mary was retired from Copeland Corporation in Sidney. She was a member of the Sidney Baptist Church and Moose Lodge in Deland, Fla.
She loved dancing, reading, crocheting and spending time with her family, friends and dogs.
Visitation is from 11:30 a.m. until a funeral at 1 p.m. Friday, May 20, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, with the Rev. John Butts officiating. Burial follows in Greenwood Union Cemetery, DeGraff.
