Ridgemont’s girls basketball team pulled out a 44-41 victory over Mohawk in non-league action Wednesday night.
The Gophers led 10-4 after one quarter and they held a 20-15 advantage at halftime.
Mohawk outscored Ridgemont 18-12 in the third period to take a 33-32 lead.
The Gophers were four points better (12-8) in the final stanza to grab the victory.
Nadia Martino scored 13 points and recorded eight rebounds, three assists and three steals to spark the Ridgemont victory.
Also for the Gophers, Jen Jordan tallied 12 points and five steals and Amanda Howland added nine points and 11 rebounds.
Ridgemont returns to action Monday at home against Triad.
