Andrew S. Cook Jr., 26, of 320 N. Troy Road, was charged Tuesday with persistent disorderly conduct and failure to disclose his personal information.
He had been warned to stop riding an off-road motorcycle on the street around 10 p.m. but was stopped around 10:25 p.m. riding in an alley near his house. He tried to argue with officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department that the alley was private property.
When they told him he would received a citation, he refused to provide his name or other information.
He was handcuffed, placed in a cruiser, unbuckled his safety belt and tried to get out of the rear passenger area.
Officers noted an odor of alcohol while interacting with the suspect.
He again unbuckled himself while en route to the Logan County Jail.
Cook continued his belligerence and was placed in a restraint chair.
