Shawn E. Hendricks, 47, of Columbus, was charged Monday with disorderly conduct as a result of an incident at 782 S. County Road 5, Zanesfield.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched about 5:20 p.m. to the address on a report of a verbal argument between Hendricks and his roommates.
His roommates said Hendricks was angered and said they owed him money. During the argument, they said the defendant threw a banana hanger and broke it.
While deputies were on the scene, Hendricks had to be told repeatedly to stop arguing.
He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
Driver cited in T.R. 55 crash
Daniel H. Rhoades, 68, of West Liberty, was cited for failure to control as a result of a non-injury crash Monday in the 6000 block of Township Road 55.
Deputies report he was operating a westbound pickup about 11:30 a.m. when he went off the left side of the road, sliding on snow and ice and striking a culvert, causing damage to the culvert. Damage was moderate to the pickup, which was towed from the scene. The driver was wearing his seat belt.
