Korey B. Grandi, 29, of 9484 State Route 368, Huntsville, was charged with menacing by stalking and received a probation violation Sunday after deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office received a report from his former girlfriend.

Deputies responded about 12:15 a.m. to 470 S. Main St., Lakeview, to speak with Ciera M. Nicol, 29. She reported that Mr. Grandi had driven by her house a total of five times that evening and demanded that she and another individual come outside and talk with him. She reported that she felt threatened by his actions.
She also showed deputies a number of text messages and phone calls that she has received from Mr. Grandi.
The defendant was located in Lakeview and was transported to the Logan County Jail.
• Anthony Hill, 56, of 180 Church St., Lakeview, was charged with aggravated menacing related to an incident in Lakeview Friday evening.
Deputies responded about 9:40 p.m. to the area of 175 Jervis St. in reference to a man who was outside holding some kind of baseball bat or club.

Residents reported that Mr. Hill had come to the home that evening and was yelling at them to come outside while hitting the bat against the ground. He reportedly was angry about an issue related to his girlfriend’s family.
Deputies located the defendant at his address and noted that he was intoxicated. He was transported to the jail.
Bar patron lodged for trespassing
Elbert Smith, 54, of Dayton, was charged with persistent disorderly conduct, trespassing and obstructing official business related to an incident Saturday evening at Froggy’s, 11065 Township Road 293, Lakeview.
A deputy working a security detail at the bar about 7 p.m. was contacted by employees regarding a woman who was being asked to leave because of her level of intoxication. However, Mr. Smith said the woman was his sister, and began yelling at the employees and at the deputy.
He had to be physically escorted from the bar, and once in the parking lot, the deputy observed that the defendant was continuing to yell obscenities at passing vehicles.
Mr. Smith attempted to elude the deputy in the parking lot, and then was placed under arrest. When asked for his identification information, he at first refused to provide his name. He was transported to the jail.
