A Bellefontaine man was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and leaving the scene of a crash after a Friday evening hit-and-run crash.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to County Road 55 north of Township Road 182 where motorist David Miller, 35, of Bellefontaine, said he was struck by a vehicle that left the scene.
Deputies located Gregory Clark, 59, at his nearby 2725 Valleyview Drive home where he had parked his vehicle in the garage.
Mr. Clark was identified as the driver and a breath test indicated he had a blood-alcohol content of 0.165 — more than twice the legal limit to operate a vehicle.
Deputies also cited Mr. Clark for driving left of center.
