Mr. Evans stopped near the U.S. Post Office and Mr. Evans fled east on foot. He was chased and apprehended in the PNC drive-through at the corner of Main Street and Chillicothe Avenue.
He reportedly fled because he had outstanding warrants for failure to appear in court in Champaign County.
Mr. Evans was cited for a red light violation and driving under suspension.
• Christopher A. King, 28, at large, was arrested on outstanding warrants from Logan County Common Pleas for possession of drugs, possession of drug abuse instruments, theft and four counts of forgery at about 9 p.m. Thursday.
He was found in a room at the Super 8 hotel, 1117 N. Main St., where an anonymous caller said officers should make a well-being check on a woman. The woman was in the room but was fine, officers report.
