Don Mahaffey Jr. won the 72-lap Korn Memorial to highlight racing at Shady Bowl Speedway on Saturday.
Mahaffey was the fast qualifier for the Korn Memorial with a time of 13.789. Mahaffey finished ahead of second-place driver Jim Lewis Jr. to get the win and a first-place prize of $1,722. Ryan Fleming, Matt Parsons and Terry Fisher Jr. rounded out the top five.
Tony Dager was the heat winner.
For the Wooten Automotive and Towing Modifieds, Mike Carroll won the 30-lap feature. Logan McPherson took second, Daniel McPherson was third, Chris Parker took fourth and Gregg Jackson was fifth. Parker was the fast qualifier, Mike Carroll was the dash winner and Zach Brandyberry was the heat winner.
In the Adams Automotive Street Stocks feature, Josh Sage took the checkered flag.
Rodney Roush was the runner-up, Buck Purtee took third, Phil Gussler finished fourth and Nate Purtee finished fifth. Rodney Roush was the fast qualifier, Sage won the dash and heat winners were Buck Purtee and Nate Purtee.
Michael Litchfield was the winner of the Harrod Septics Solutions Compacts feature. He was followed in the top five by Charlie Hoepker, Mike Wintrow, Larry Adams and Chase Lang. Baggett was the fast qualifier and B Main winners were Rob Taylor IV and David Asher.
The checkered flag for the Noble Armor Coating Adult Crown Vics went to Jimmy McElfresh. Sam Marquis took second, Curtis Noble finished third, Alex Zerkle was fourth and Zach Beaty-Lakins finished fifth. Marquis and Zerkle won the heats.
Also in action were the Bullett Liners of Dayton Thunder Cars. Brad Blue won the 20-lap feature. Robert Roush, Brandon Helton, Scott Drake and Hunter Hicks filled out the top five. Roush was the fast qualifier, Curtis Noble won the dash and Corey Wooten was the heat winner.
