OKLAHOMA CITY — Love’s Travel Stops opened three new locations this week in three different states, including its new travel stop located along State Route 540 at U.S. Route 33 in Bellefontaine.
The other two locations also opening Thursday included travel stops in Milton, Fla., and Garden City, Ga.
The stores combined add more than 300 truck parking spaces and 200 jobs to these three communities.
“Opening three locations in one day is no small feat, but our team members are ready to show customers Love’s Highway Hospitality in Bellefontaine, Milton and Garden City,” said Greg Love, Love’s co-CEO.
“Whether it’s fresh food, snacks or coffee, today’s latest technologies or just somewhere to stretch your legs, Love’s has the amenities professional drivers and four-wheel customers need while they’re on the road.”
The Bellefontaine location at 2001 State Route 540 features more than 13,000 square foot of indoor space and is open 24/7. Retail selections include bean-to-cup gourmet coffee, brand-name snacks and Fresh Kitchen concept items.
Also making preparations to serve meals for motorists, truck drivers and other guests on site, Hardee’s is slated to open Dec. 6.
In total, the travel stop features 126 truck parking spaces, 55 car parking spaces, seven RV spaces and eight diesel bays, along with a CAT scale.
Other traveler amenities include laundry facilities and eight showers. For traveling canine companions, there is a fenced dog park on site as well.
The site also features Mobile to Go Zone with the latest GPS, headsets and smartphone accessories.
In honor of the grand opening celebrations, Love’s will donate $2,000 to the United Way of Logan County in Bellefontaine, Santa Rosa Kid’s House in Milton, Fla., and the Coastal Empire Habitat for Humanity in Garden City, Ga.
