For the first time, the Logan County Ball Association will be participating in the state Little League tournament next week in North Canton. It is a qualifier for the Little League World Series regional tournament.
Logan County qualified to the state tournament and will be representing District Six. They will be one of seven teams competing to win a state title and advance to the LLWS regional tournament. Logan County will face the District Four representative on Monday at 6 p.m. as part of a double-elimination tournament.
Representing Logan County are Cooper Crouch (DeGraff), Braden Hershberger (West Liberty-Salem), Aiden Hull (West Liberty-Salem), Dallas Koons (West Liberty-Salem, Reese Oder (West Liberty-Salem), Tucker Searles (West Liberty-Salem), Jaxon Snipes (Huntsville), Dawson Stevenson (Indian Lake), Carson Vesey (West Liberty-Salem, Sutton Wilcoxon (West Liberty-Salem) and Levi Yelton (West Liberty-Salem). The team will be coached by Zerah Crouch, Jeremy Snipes and Matt Hull.
