The Logan County Chamber of Commerce has announced plans to distribute $75,000 in grant funding intended to help local small businesses endure operational difficulties brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Local chamber of commerce members with 50 or fewer employees may apply for $10,000 in grant funding through the program to cover up to three months of payroll during mandatory business closures or reduced operations; or to cover up to three months of rent or mortgage payments.
Applications are due by 5 p.m., Friday, April 10, and may be submitted via e-mail to Logan County Chamber President Ben Vollrath at [email protected] .
Expected disbursement of the grant funds is expected by Friday, April 17.
Preference will be given to applicants that demonstrate impact of loss of revenue; employee impact from layoffs, or reduced hours and pay; inability to pay rent/mortgage.
