Logan Acres Care Center, 2739 County Road 91, Bellefontaine, recently received a deficiency-free survey by the Ohio Department of Health following the annual review that is conducted during an unannounced visit by ODH officials.
Less than 5 percent of Ohio nursing facilities achieve a survey with perfect results, according to a release.
This honor is a reflection of the dedication of all residents and staff, Campus Administrator Lorraine Fischio said,
“This outstanding accomplishment is the direct result of open communications with residents and families and a super talented group of health care professionals here at Logan Acres,” she said.
Key measures of standardized care are monitored, as well as individual case histories.
All health care facilities receive this extensive review and every department is carefully examined, from nursing to nutrition services, life enrichment and environmental services.
“Our employees work in a very committed way, providing physical and emotional caregiving during short-term rehab stays and long-term residency,” Laura Haverkos, Logan Acres campus director of marketing said.
The Logan Acres campus is brought to the community by the Logan County Commissioners and is managed by Progressive Health Care Systems.
