A Little League baseball team made up of Logan County players finished as the runner-up at the state tournament in Canton.
The tourney was a qualifier for the regional round of the Little League World Series.
The Logan County squad lost on the first day of the tourney, but battled back through the loser’s bracket to advance to the championship Thursday.
Trailing 5-1 to North Canton in the bottom of the seventh, Logan County loaded the bases with one out. However, North Canton held on from there to get the win.
Logan County finished with a record of 3-2.
Members of team Logan County were Aiden Hull, Cooper Crouch, Levi Yelton, Dawson Stevenson, Garrett Daum, Reese Oder, Jaxson Snipes, Tyler Tidwell, Sutton Wilcoxon, Braden Hershberger, Tucker Searles, Carson Vesey, Dallas Koons and Nick Kensler.
