Last wrestling season was the first time in over 30 years Logan County was not represented at the OHSAA state wrestling tournament in Columbus.

A group of 17 area wrestlers are looking to make their mark and get the area’s wrestling scene back on the map when they compete in the district tournament today and Saturday.
The top four in each weight class advance to the 79th annual state tournament at the Jerome Schottenstein Center on the campus of Ohio State University.
Indian Lake and Benjamin Logan will compete in the Division II district tournament at Wilmington High School. Wrestling begins at 3 p.m. on Friday and resumes at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Bellefontaine competes at the Division I district tournament at Kettering-Fairmont’s Trent Arena. Wrestling begins at 4 p.m. on Friday and resumes at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
Triad will compete in Division III at Hobart Arena in Troy where wrestling starts at 3 p.m. on Friday and picks back up at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
