It another high-scoring affair between Indian Lake and Benjamin Logan on Friday.
And it was another convincing win for the Lakers as they rolled to a 82-68 victory over the host Raiders in local Central Buckeye Conference play.
The Lakers, who beat the Raiders 70-51 in their earlier matchup this season, improve to 8-6 overall and 6-1 in the CBC Mad River division. The Raiders fall to 4-10, 1-5.
“It was a big scoring night for both teams,” said IL head coach Zach Overturf. “Give Ben Logan credit, they shot the ball really well. I felt that our pace and offensive execution was probably the best it has been all season.”
Indian Lake senior Austin Parker delivered his best game of his career with a season- and career-high 39 points.
“I’m really proud of Austin,” said Overturf. “He was close to getting a school record. I’m most proud of his shot selection. He took a lot of in-rhythm jumpers and finished well around the rim. He was locked in tonight.”
It was a three-point difference after the opening quarter as Indian Lake led 23-20.
The Lakers outscored the Raiders 23-19 in the second period for a 46-39 advantage at halftime.
